About Red Oak

Red Oak builds compliance and distribution software for the asset management industry, automating the review of sales and marketing content so regulated firms stay compliant without slowing down. 19 of the top 20 global asset managers are Red Oak clients, including BlackRock, Vanguard, PIMCO, and Morgan Stanley. We're the only provider delivering a fully integrated compliance and distribution platform in a single offering, and one of the fastest-growing companies in compliance technology.

Our vision: we become the compliance layer every Financial Services firm runs on.

Why This Role Matters

Our accounts are our biggest growth lever. Most clients start with a single product, and the cross-sell opportunity across our platform is significant and largely untapped. Following the recent Red Oak and MirrorWeb merger, the combined book created cross-sell opportunity neither company had on its own, and our account management team is scaling to meet it. You'll help build that team: a book of business from day one, new products coming to market, and your fingerprints on how we grow. High autonomy. High ownership. High impact.

What Success Looks Like
  • 90 Days: Introductory contact with all highest-priority accounts in your book; strong pipeline created with a healthy set of qualified opportunities in Salesforce; clean pipeline hygiene; fluent in Red Oak's sales process, playbooks, and products.

  • 180 Days: Growing pipeline with early closed-won expansion revenue.

  • 270 Days: Expanding pipeline with meaningful cumulative closed-won revenue.

  • Year 1: Substantial pipeline built, on track toward quota.

  • Fully Ramped: Sustained pipeline at full annual quota.

The Role

You'll own a sizable portfolio of midmarket and lower-enterprise accounts, spanning a range of priority tiers. Most accounts today run a single product — Compliance or Distribution — with significant cross-sell room. Deal size and cycle length vary widely as the platform matures and cross-sell expands. A Client Success Manager owns onboarding, adoption, retention, and day-to-day support — you own the commercial and strategic relationship.

Responsibilities
  • Own expansion revenue end-to-end: upsells, cross-sells, contract expansions, and renewals

  • Build executive relationships with documented account plans and multi-year growth strategies

  • Multi-thread across marketing, sales, and compliance stakeholders within complex accounts

  • Build and manage a strong pipeline at full ramp; maintain disciplined hygiene and accurate forecasting in Salesforce

  • Lead commercial negotiations from qualified opportunity through legal and procurement to a signed contract

  • Use AI tools to research accounts, surface expansion signals, and accelerate deal prep — Gong for call review and deal-health signals, Claude throughout the deal cycle for account research and commercial materials

  • Partner with Client Success, Product, and Sales to refine the expansion playbook as the platform evolves

  • Represent Red Oak at industry events and client on-sites; approximately one trip per month

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years in account management, account executive, or client-facing sales within SaaS (industry-agnostic — financial services or fintech background welcome but not required)

  • Experience selling into financial services (wealth managers, asset managers, or compliance teams) is a strong differentiator, not a requirement

  • Comfort multi-threading across multiple stakeholders — marketing, sales, compliance — within a single account; deal size itself isn't the bar

  • Strong Salesforce discipline: reliable forecasting and pipeline hygiene

  • Experience navigating negotiation, legal, and procurement processes through to a signed contract

  • AI fluency in your sales workflow: account research, call prep, outreach, deal analysis. This is table stakes here

  • Clear, confident communicator with C-suite stakeholders — you can run a room and know when to listen

Benefits
  • Equity Appreciation Rights: share in what we're building

  • Comprehensive health coverage: medical, dental, and vision

  • 401(k) with a 3% company contribution

  • 20 days PTO annually, plus your birthday off and paid sick leave

  • Enhanced family leave

  • Life insurance
