The Role

Our Account Management team has a unique mission to help make government contractors more successful in their pursuits using GovDash.

GovDash is being rapidly adopted by companies across the country to redefine how their capture, proposal and contract teams go after opportunities. GovDash assists government contractors with capture, proposal development, contract management and more, all in one place. As an Account Manager, you will own the customer relationship after conversion. You will build relationships with the people using GovDash every day and keep them engaged so they get more out of the platform over time. You will carry the number for renewal and growth across your book.

What You'll Do

  • Become a product expert across our entire platform and understand how GovDash can be used to run workflows across capture, proposal development and contract management.

  • Take handoff of newly converted accounts from Onboarding and build relationships across each one, from daily users to executive sponsors.

  • Own renewals across your book, surfacing risks early and making the case for value well before the renewal date.

  • Identify and close expansion as teams, use cases, and contract volume grows.

  • Monitor adoption and act on it, including account level training when teams add users, change workflows, or pick up new features.

  • Drive upsell into your accounts, including credits and new modules, as teams take on more of the capture and proposal lifecycle in GovDash.

  • Have multiple customer sessions per today, held through Microsoft Teams to train, and help customers run workflows live, assist with migration efforts, and answer questions.

  • Run regular business reviews that tie GovDash to customer success criteria, ensuring they get value from GovDash.

  • Share feedback and issues from customer calls with product and engineering teams, creating and managing tickets.

  • Maintain and update accurate records in CRM.

You Might Thrive Here If You:

  • Thrive in ambiguity and work autonomously.

  • Have exceptional organizational skills.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years in account management, customer success, another post sale role at a software company, or equivalent experience in another customer facing role.

  • 2+ years of proposal development and capture experience.

  • A track record of owning renewals and finding expansion inside an existing book of business.

  • Familiar with government contracting, our products, and the problems they solve for our customers.

  • Strong analytical mindset. You are comfortable reading usage data to understand account health and create action plans.

  • Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple way.

  • The ability to operate with high horsepower, be adept at frequent context switching and working on multiple customer accounts at once, and ruthless prioritization.
