SafeGraph builds the most accurate data on physical places in the world. Our point-of-interest (POI), geometry, and address datasets power products at some of the most demanding data teams on the planet — from mapping and logistics to financial services, retail, and AI. We are a lean, results-driven, fully remote team where every person makes a real impact.
Internal agents and daily use of modern AI tools let a small team move like a much larger one. If you want to own real outcomes, work with sharp people, and use the best tools available to move fast, you'll fit here.
The RoleWe're hiring an Account Manager to own the retention and growth of a book of SafeGraph customers. You'll be the primary relationship for your accounts — driving adoption, running renewals, spotting and closing expansion, and solving technical problems alongside our product and engineering teams. This is a revenue-owning, customer-obsessed role for someone who thrives with autonomy and pushes the pace.
What You'll Do• Own the relationship. Own day-to-day account management for a portfolio of B2B data customers — build trusted relationships, drive product adoption and become the person your customers call first.
• Drive renewals. Lead renewals end-to-end: forecast accurately, negotiate, and protect and grow net revenue retention.
• Grow accounts. Identify and close upsell and expansion opportunities by understanding each customer's use case and where SafeGraph data creates more value.
• Solve problems. Handle technical support and troubleshooting — dig into data questions, delivery issues, and integration problems, and get customers to an answer fast.
• Work cross-functionally. Partner with Sales on handoffs and account strategy, and with Product to turn customer feedback into roadmap signal.
• Leverage AI. Use AI tools every day to prep for calls, draft comms, and get leverage on repetitive work — so you spend your time where judgment matters.
RequirementsWhat We're Looking For
• 3–5 years in account management, customer success, or a customer-facing revenue role, ideally at a B2B SaaS or data company.
• A track record of retaining and growing accounts, with ownership of renewals and/or expansion targets.
• Comfort with technical products and data. You don't need to code, but you should be able to hold a credible conversation about technical topics like, data schemas, and delivery — and do first-line troubleshooting a customer's data question to get them to an answer fast, using AI tools and basic querying.
• Hands-on fluency with modern AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) and an instinct to reach for them to work more efficiently.
• Experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM.
• Excellent written and verbal communication both internally and externally.
• Based in the United States and able to work autonomously in a fully remote environment.
Bonus Points• Experience with B2B data, geospatial, or developer-facing data products.
• Comfort with SQL to query data directly
• Familiarity with modern data delivery through cloud platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, or AWS.
How We WorkOur values shape who thrives here:
• Do fewer things, be great at them. We do fewer things but are great at them — focus over busywork.
• Judgment is the x-factor. Judgment is the x-factor — we hire people we can trust to make the call.
• We are enablers. We empower innovators— we make our customers successful, then get out of their way.
• Move fast, don't be a bottleneck. Respect your own time and everyone else's — get leverage, and don't block your teammates.
• Grow. Focus on growth — for our customers, the company, and yourself.
Why SafeGraph• 100% remote, work-from-anywhere in the US.
• Medical, dental, and vision plans; 401(k); flexible vacation.
• A genuinely AI-augmented team where using the best tools is the norm, not the exception.
• Small team, real impact — your work is visible and it matters.
