Overview

Drive revenue growth and strengthen customer partnerships as a key commercial leader managing strategic accounts within the fiber optics market. This role is responsible for achieving sales targets, shaping account strategies, and collaborating cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customer Service to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver revenue growth by meeting or exceeding assigned sales and profitability targets
• Manage selling expenses in alignment with budget expectations
• Own relationships with Core and Growth Accounts, building strong connections with purchasing and technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with global commercial teams to ensure alignment and communication on international accounts
• Develop and execute account-specific sales strategies and programs
• Coordinate internal resources across Customer Service, Product Management, Applications Engineering, and Manufacturing to support customer needs
• Partner with Business Development and Strategic Account teams to advance key initiatives
• Support and guide Inside Sales Representatives and Customer Service teams to achieve shared objectives
• Maintain deep technical knowledge of fiber optic products, including connectors, cable assemblies, and optical interconnect systems
• Apply consultative selling techniques to position US Conec as a preferred technical and product solutions provider
• Participate in marketing initiatives, including trade shows, promotions, and product launches
• Identify new product opportunities and provide market insights to Product Management
• Serve as a key source of customer and market intelligence, including industry trends and competitive activity
• Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records in Salesforce CRM, including monthly reporting
• Lead coordination of product-related issue resolution in collaboration with internal teams

Must Haves

• Bachelor’s degree required (technical or engineering discipline preferred)
• 5+ years of commercial experience in the fiber optics industry
• Strong knowledge of fiber optic cable, connectors, and interconnect hardware
• Proven ability to manage customer accounts and achieve sales targets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to travel up to 50% (limited international)

Nice to Haves

• Experience working with data center or telecom architectures
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM or similar systems
• Background supporting global or strategic accounts
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional technical environments
