Looking to develop a career in sales? We are seeking dynamic and driven individuals to join our Premier Sales team at Zayo. This 18 month program will include a robust training program, mentorship, and a cohort to learn and grow with. The Account Manager position will give you the unique opportunity to work with a variety of accounts with ample growth opportunities within Zayo.

Location: Zayo Group Headquarters - Denver, Colorado - downtown paid parking / Hybrid Work (3 days in office / 2 days remote)

Time to hire / Start date:  January 2026

What does success look like in this role?

The successful candidate will develop customer relationships and drive sales for Core, Cloud and Edge related services to established accounts and contacts within Zayo’s customer base. Our Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales and revenue growth targets through consistent account management activities, meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals set by the leadership team through remote selling. The ideal candidate wants to learn the industry and develop a career in sales.

By joining Zayo’s Premier Sales Team, you will:

● Become an industry vertical expert

● Build a sales funnel and accurately forecast

● Sell a full portfolio of best-in-class products

● Create an improved customer experience

● Broaden executive customer relationships

Responsibilities:

● Generate sales revenue by actively promoting Zayo products and services to targeted account patches.

● Work with vertical sales leads to develop an account strategy, solution design, and relationship management on targeted accounts.

● Manage high volume of work while maintaining a high degree of responsiveness.

● Track, analyze and report on sales performance and activities in Salesforce and other reporting tools.

● Provide accurate and timely forecasts of sales opportunities.

● Develop and maintain records of customer activity for reporting of sales and forecasts.

● Provide accurate and timely information to management.

● Coordinate closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained and revenue objectives met.

● Collaboratively work as a part of a team while concurrently performing as an individual with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 1-2 year(s) relevant work experience

  • Proven ability to build relationships 

  • Strong financial acumen

  • Quick learner who collaborates well with others. 

  • Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.

  • Exceptional customer service skills.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills. 

  • A sense of urgency and desire to rapidly accelerate results and career with Zayo Group Sales 

  • Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and can work effectively with a diverse group of personalities; must be approachable, show respect for others and be able to present data with effective communication and presentation skills 

  • High tolerance for ambiguity and can work successfully in a matrix management model 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Salesforce a plus. 

  • Willingness to learn Zayo Networks value proposition, products, and services

Estimated base salary range: $49,000 - $55,000 USD/annually. This opportunity is eligible to participate in the sales commission plan.

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.

Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.

The posting will be active for a minimum of 3 days. The active posting will continue to extend by 3 days until the position is filled.
