Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager for our Offline business to join our team at Bose. You will be r esponsible for driving Bose's offline business through the appointed distributor across Single Brand Stores (SBS), Large Format Retail (LFR), Duty Free, P&I, and key CE dealers. Owns sell-in, sell-thru, forecasting, PO management, and distributor inventory health, while influencing key retailers to ensure strong execution, store compliance, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Distributor Management (Primary)
  • Lead sell-in, sell-thru, demand planning, and Lag1/Lag3 forecasting.
  • Ensure monthly PO submission in Week 1 and drive accurate buy plans.
  • Manage distributor AOP, run MBRs/QBRs, and track margin delivery.
  • Maintain optimal inventory, DOS, and ageing.

Channel Execution Enablement
  • Support distributor to deliver store execution, VM compliance, demos, and experience.
  • Improve promoter productivity through training and quality checks.
  • Oversee execution of promotions, NPIs, planograms, and retail marketing.
  • Ensure healthy inventory at POS through balancing and replenishment.

Retailer Relationship Management (Influence Role)
  • Build strong partnerships with SBS, LFR, and CE dealers.
  • Resolve distributor-retailer issues (inventory, VM, promoter, visibility).
  • Influence decisions related to placement, visibility, space, refits, and expansions .

Expansion & Branding
  • Evaluate new store opportunities and support ROI assessments.
  • Ensure distributor executes store refits/relocations per brand guidelines.
  • Drive brand standards through audits, VM compliance, and display hygiene.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Align with Marketing, Trade Marketing, Planning, Logistics, and Finance to enable seamless operations, visibility programs, and claim management.

Job Requirements
  • 10-12 years of experience in Key Account Management, Offline Retail, or Distributor Management (CE/tech preferred).
  • Strong understanding of SBS/LFR/CE retail ecosystems.
  • Proven skills in sales forecasting, PO management, and inventory planning.
  • Strong relationship-building and conflict-management capabilities.
  • Excellent commercial and analytical acumen.
  • Experience managing promoter teams and retail marketing execution.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across distributor and reseller networks.
  • Willingness to travel for store visits, audits, and reviews.
