The Account Executive will manage sales pipelines, handle both inbound and outbound sales, develop expertise in target sports, conduct demos, and collaborate across teams to drive growth.
🌎 About Us
At TeamSnap, we believe when the world connects through sports; the world becomes better. TeamSnap is a sports and communication platform dedicated to taking the work out of play in youth sports. We also believe our jobs should excite us, our teammates should support us and our bosses should inspire us. We empower our people to bring big ideas and tiny egos, landing us on Outside Magazine’s list of “Best Places to Work" and Built In’s “100 Best Remote-First Places to Work."
We're looking for a high-energy, sports-loving, full-cycle sales rep to drive new business. You'll play a critical role in driving growth by managing both high-value inbound leads and a named account list for outbound prospecting. If you love competing, building relationships, and winning in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this is the role for you.
What You'll Do:
- Manage a Dual-Channel Pipeline: Master both inbound and outbound sales motions. You will manage high-value inbound leads from a round-robin system while also hunting for new business.
- Strategic Outbound Prospecting: Own and penetrate a named account list of 100-200 high-potential prospects. You will be responsible for multi-threaded, omnichannel outreach to build your own pipeline.
- Leverage AI & Referrals: Actively prospect high-intent leads fed to you from AI prospecting tools and proactively uncover referral and hierarchy-based opportunities.
- Become a Sport- or Competitor-Specific Expert: Develop deep subject matter expertise in a few target sports (e.g., Soccer, Baseball, Hockey) or competing software providers. You will be the go-to expert for organizations in your specialty.
- Run the full sales cycle: Take leads from qualification to demo, proposal, negotiation, and close.
- Be a product expert: Conduct in-depth, web-based demos, uncover complex customer needs, and articulate our value proposition.
- Maintain CRM discipline: Accurately track all activities and pipeline in Salesforce.
- Collaborate: Work closely with marketing, customer success, your fellow selling peers, and your sales leadership team to align strategies and deliver value to customers.
What We're Looking For:
- Hunter Mentality: You are a self-starter who thrives on proactive, multi-threaded outbound prospecting and inbound lead management and are not afraid to build your own pipeline.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.
- Athlete's Mindset: You're competitive, resilient, and bounce back fast from rejection.
- Business-Savvy: You analyze sales performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Customer-focused: You genuinely care about helping sports organizations succeed.
- Resourceful & Proactive: You take initiative, problem-solve, and seek guidance when needed.
- Team Player: You collaborate, share knowledge, and celebrate team wins.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- 2-4 years of quota-carrying sales experience, especially in new business development.
- SaaS or sports industry experience.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, evolving sales organization.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for team meetings, trade shows, or client visits.
Compensation:
We’re committed to equitable compensation for all TeamSnappers. The minimum starting point for this role is $70,000, inclusive of base and commission, with comp updated based on multiple factors. Our comp is highly competitive in our space and we adjust overall comp based on relevant experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
