Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Account Executive to join our team!
National Accounts Management requires a highly strategic and consultative approach, focused on managing complex client needs, delivering customized solutions, and cultivating senior-level relationships across large organizations. This role demands the ability to operate with structure and discipline while also navigating ambiguity—balancing tailored strategy, cross-functional coordination, and long-term growth objectives.
Success in this role requires a strong commitment to standards, and maintaining consistency and rigor in execution. The ideal candidate demonstrates sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver reliable, high-quality outcomes as client relationships evolve. This role also includes travel to our corporate headquarters and client sites to support relationship management and business objectives.
The Account Executive (AE) is an individual contributor responsible for managing client relationships and supporting account strategy for employer, health plan, and PBM clients across a range of account sizes and complexity. This role serves as a primary point of contact for clients, broker consultants, and advisors, ensuring client needs are understood, addressed, and aligned with organizational capabilities. The Account Executive partners closely with Sales, Clinical Account Executives, Analytics, and Operations teams to support renewals, deliver strategic insights, and drive client satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities
How do I make an impact on my team?
- Manage assigned client accounts across varying sizes and levels of complexity, maintaining strong working relationships with clients, brokers, and consultants.
- Support account strategy development by gathering client needs, analyzing performance data, and contributing insights aligned to financial, clinical, and service objectives.
- Lead renewal activities by coordinating internal inputs, preparing client materials, and supporting informed decision‑making through effective listening and needs assessment.
- Build trusted relationships with client and consultant stakeholders through consistent engagement, professionalism, and responsiveness.
- Identify opportunities for additional programs or solutions by evaluating client needs and vetting options in alignment with organizational standards and governance.
- Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) by preparing materials, contributing to discussions, and supporting delivery of insights and recommendations.
- Resolve client issues by coordinating with internal partners, applying appropriate judgment, and escalating matters when necessary.
- Develop negotiation skills by balancing client expectations with company priorities and participating in discussions with senior client and consultant leaders.
- Utilize company reporting systems, analytics tools, and platforms to support account management, performance monitoring, and client communications.
- Other duties as assigned.
What our team expects from you?
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
- 3 years of experience managing or supporting client accounts within PBM, health plan, healthcare, or related benefits environments required.
- 3 years of experience working directly with clients, brokers, or consultants, including participation in renewal discussions and strategic meetings required.
- 3 years of experience supporting or contributing to account planning, renewals, and performance discussions, including exposure to utilization, financial, or service data required.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining professional client relationships and supporting executive‑level interactions required.
- Experience using reporting systems, analytics platforms, or company tools to support client decision‑making required.
- Account Management experience is strongly preferred.
- Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
- The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.
