Packetlabs is a cybersecurity firm built by an ethical hacker after seeing vulnerability assessments presented as penetration tests. Our slogan, “Ready for more than a VA scan?” reflects our commitment to delivering real security outcomes, not a false sense of protection.

We are a team of highly trained, proactive, ethical hackers delivering expert-level penetration testing services tailored to each client. Our mission is to help organizations build safer digital environments where privacy and security are non-negotiable.

We’re growing our enterprise sales function and looking for a disciplined, quota-carrying Account Executive who can own revenue across inbound and outbound channels while supporting complex sales cycles.

To do so, we only hire individuals with the same drive and passion.

What you’ll be doing

  • Carry and exceed a quota in a true account executive role, owning revenue across inbound and outbound pipeline
  • Own the full sales cycle for fast-moving opportunities, typically under 60 days from initial contact to close
  • Convert inbound interest into qualified opportunities and revenue
  • Generate outbound pipeline through research, targeting, and prospecting
  • Support enterprise sales cycles led by the Director of Enterprise Accounts
  • Develop proposals and presentations that demonstrate business value and technical credibility
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts within 3 to 6 months post-sale
  • Maintain clean, accurate pipeline management and forecasting in CRM
  • Generate a minimum of 3 highly qualified opportunities per month
  • Participate in pipeline reviews and forecasting with discipline and accuracy
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Client Success to improve targeting, messaging, and execution

Who you are

  • Humbly Ambitious: You’re driven to win, but you put clients and collaboration first. You know that sales isn’t about ego, it’s about solving real problems.
  • A Builder: You create opportunities, structure your own approach, and adapt to challenges. You don’t just follow a playbook, you improve it.
  • Outcome-Focused: You care about closed revenue and qualified opportunity over vanity metrics
  • Highly Organized and Disciplined: You manage and prioritize multiple accounts, document thoroughly, and execute with precision.
  • Always Learning: You actively build your understanding of cybersecurity, enterprise selling, and client environments
  • A Good Person: Integrity and respect shape how you show up with clients and colleagues. You do what’s right, even when no one is watching.
  • Resourceful and Collaborative: You help others solve problems, navigate roadblocks, and move work forward across the team.

What you bring

  • 2 or more years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or account executive roles
  • A track record of qualifying and closing fast-moving deals under 60 days
  • Experience in generating a pipeline through outbound efforts
  • Strong CRM discipline and structured follow-through
  • Experience in cybersecurity, SaaS, or IT services is an asset
  • Strong communication skills across email, LinkedIn, and phone

Here's how we define success

  • Consistently meet or exceed quota through a mix of inbound and outbound revenue
  • Build trust with clients through strong communication and value-driven selling
  • Develop account plans and identify expansion opportunities early in the client lifecycle
  • Contribute to stronger deal execution through collaboration with enterprise sales
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline hygiene and accurate forecasting
  • Continuously improve sales execution, messaging, and industry knowledge

Why us?

  • High-performance, no-ego sales environment
  • Competitive compensation with a strong base salary
  • Fully remote in Texas
  • Paid training and certifications
  • Clear growth path into more complex and enterprise-level selling
  • Generous vacation and personal days
