We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven SMB Account Executive to accelerate growth through a balanced focus on outbound prospecting, inbound qualification, and opportunity closing. This role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about new business development, and is eager to contribute to a high-performing team.
You will be responsible for driving net-new revenue across a defined territory, leveraging a mix of outbound and inbound strategies, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Sales Development, Solutions Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success.
Key Responsibilities
Outbound Prospecting (40%)
· Proactively identify and engage new prospects through targeted outreach.
· Meet or exceed monthly meeting and pipeline contribution goals.
· Maintain a consistent cadence of outbound activity to build a healthy top-of-funnel.
Inbound Qualification (20%)
· Qualify and progress inbound leads through discovery and consultative selling
· Drive deal momentum and ensure consistent pipeline advancement throughout the quarter.
Opportunity Closing (30%)
· Own the full sales cycle from discovery to close for qualified opportunities.
· Develop tailored proposals, lead contract negotiations, and close deals to meet or exceed quarterly targets.
· Prioritize closing activities during key points in the quarter while maintaining flexibility to shift focus as needed.
Continuous Development (10%)
· Participate in ongoing training and enablement programs.
· Apply coaching and feedback from sales leadership to continuously improve skills and performance.
· Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and product knowledge.
Qualifications
· 1-2 years of experience in B2B software sales, preferably in a small or mid-market sales environment.
· Proven success in both outbound prospecting and closing new business.
· Sales and business acumen
· Strong ability to manage a high volume of opportunities with speed and precision.
· Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
· Collaboration & Communication
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
· Comfortable working cross-functionally to deliver tailored solutions.
· Self-Management
· Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing priorities.
· Strong time management and prioritization skills.
· Technical Proficiency
· Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales tools (e.g., Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
Preferred Qualifications
· Familiarity with marketing technology, digital experience platforms, or SaaS solutions.
· Experience selling to marketing, digital, or IT stakeholders.
