Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients, industries, and markets to generate new business opportunities.
- Sales Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, highlighting how our software solutions meet their business needs.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers, understanding their pain points and offering customized solutions.
- Pipeline Management: Effectively manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline, from initial contact to closing.
- Negotiation and Closing: Manage contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and close deals to secure new customers.
- Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to align efforts, maximize sales opportunities, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about market trends, competition, and evolving customer needs to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- CRM Management: Utilize CRM software to track leads, opportunities, and activities, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven Sales Experience: 3+ years of experience in software sales, with a focus on new customer acquisition.
- Track Record: Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of software products, technology, and how software solutions can address business challenges.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Customer-Centric: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain long-term relationships.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Additional Skills (Preferred but not Required):
- Experience in SaaS or enterprise software sales.
- Understanding of industry verticals such as finance, healthcare, or retail.
- Familiarity with modern sales techniques such as SPIN, Challenger Sales, or Consultative Selling.
- Experience working for start-up company or meeting sales goals for newly created products or software packages.
