We are seeking a driven, high-performing Account Executive to join our Marketing Services team and drive new business growth across the Western United States. This is a hunter-focused role responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business with legal technology companies, law firms, professional service providers, and advertising agencies.
The ideal candidate is a consultative seller who thrives on opening doors, building executive relationships, and uncovering new opportunities. You will represent our portfolio of Marketing Services solutions, helping clients build brand awareness, generate demand, engage key audiences, and achieve measurable business outcomes through strategic marketing programs. Success in this role requires disciplined prospecting, strategic account planning, and the ability to proactively engage multiple stakeholders across client organizations, build compelling business cases, and articulate measurable value that earns executive buy-in and drives business results.
This is a remote sales position supporting clients and prospects across the Western United States. The role requires approximately 15% travel for client meetings, industry conferences, and networking opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, strategic outbound sales activity, and AI-enabled sales engagement.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, AI-powered sales tools, and other technologies to identify opportunities, personalize outreach, and accelerate the sales cycle.
- Sell a comprehensive portfolio of Marketing Services solutions by developing consultative, integrated programs that align with client business objectives and marketing goals.
- Conduct consultative discovery meetings to understand client objectives, uncover business challenges, and recommend strategic Marketing Services solutions that deliver measurable results.
- Proactively engage multiple stakeholders and decision-makers within target accounts, build consensus across buying groups, and develop compelling business cases that clearly demonstrate ROI and business value.
- Manage complex sales opportunities from prospecting through proposal development, negotiation, closing, and post-sale transition.
- Develop trusted relationships with senior marketing executives, business leaders, agency partners, and other key decision-makers.
- Deliver compelling presentations and value-based proposals that clearly communicate strategic value and measurable business outcomes.
- Embrace AI and emerging sales technologies to improve prospecting, account research, outreach, proposal development, and overall sales effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and account activity within Salesforce.
- Represent the company at client meetings, industry conferences, and networking events.
- Collaborate with ad operations and client success teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Consistently achieve or exceed individual revenue, pipeline, and activity goals.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Three or more years of successful B2B media, digital advertising, marketing services, SaaS, or consultative sales experience.
- Proven success generating new business and consistently exceeding revenue goals.
- Demonstrated ability to build a qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting and strategic account development.
- Experience navigating complex buying organizations by engaging multiple stakeholders and executive decision-makers.
- Strong consultative selling, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills, with the ability to develop compelling business cases and articulate measurable ROI.
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft 365, and sales engagement platforms such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Groove.
- Experience leveraging AI and modern sales technologies to improve productivity, client engagement, and sales performance.
