What You’ll Do
Purpose: Drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer success by aligning Omnicell’s Med Adherence solutions to the strategic and operational needs of healthcare organizations.
As a Med Adherence Account Executive, you will:
Primary Impact: Expand Omnicell’s footprint and market share while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and long‑term value realization.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans that address both annual goals and 3–5 year customer initiatives, delivering consistent revenue growth and retention.
- Build and deepen executive‑level relationships with C‑suite, Directors, and Pharmacy leaders through consultative, face‑to‑face engagement.
Identify and qualify new business opportunities by conducting discovery conversations with Pharmacy Directors, Managers, and executive stakeholders to align customer needs with Omnicell solutions. - Drive portfolio growth through cross‑selling, add‑on solutions, and replacement opportunities across Omnicell’s Med Adherence offerings.
- Lead complex sales cycles including presentations, demonstrations, site visits, and contract negotiations to successful close.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Clinical Consultants, Pricing Analysts, Sales Support, Marketing, Operations, IT, Finance, and Technical Support to deliver customer‑centric solutions.
- Act as the customer sponsor and liaison, proactively managing issues, escalating risks, and ensuring alignment across internal teams.
- Maintain an accurate and actionable forecast by leveraging Salesforce CRM and other tools to track pipeline, customer activity, and KPIs.
- Negotiate and execute contract strategies, building internal business cases and securing required approvals.
- Represent Omnicell’s strategy and value proposition by delivering compelling, customer‑focused presentations and educational content.
- Contribute to corporate initiatives and process improvements that enhance sales effectiveness and customer experience.
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a healthcare sales environment or successful completion of Omnicell’s Field Development Certification Program
- Demonstrated experience selling within healthcare, preferably institutional pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, or PBM
- Proven ability to develop and execute account‑level strategic and tactical plans tied to measurable outcomes
- Strong financial acumen with experience in pricing strategy and contract negotiation
- Experience generating and negotiating hospital or health‑system contracts
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and intermediate skills in Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience
- Experience managing complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles (e.g., Miller Heiman, Challenger)
- Knowledge of technology‑enabled healthcare solutions and services
- Strong negotiation, conflict management, and customer service skills, including experience serving as an issue‑resolution liaison
