As an Account Executive, Direct Sales you will be responsible for selling small business funding approvals to warm leads provided by our Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for building customer relationships, combined with a deep understanding of small business owners, their challenges, the industry, and the competitive landscape.

In this role you will:
  • Proactively prospect leads to independently generate and manage a pipeline of funding approvals.

  • Via email, text and phone, effectively communicate the benefits of our small business funding, tailoring the conversation to address each customer's unique needs and challenges.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and product knowledge, acting as a trusted advisor.

  • Negotiate and finalize funding agreements, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the small business financial environment.

  • Stay up-to-date on funding product knowledge, market trends, and competitive offerings within the small business financing industry.

Role Requirements:

  • 1+ years experience in a Direct Sales Representative or in a similar sales role, with a focus on prospecting and closing sales.

  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets.

  • Strong understanding of small business operations, challenges, and financial needs.

  • Familiarity with the small business financing industry and competitive landscape.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.

  • Able to juggle multiple conversations, stay organized, and follow process.

  • Comfortable using tools like Dialpad / SMS Magic, Salesforce, Tableau.

Preferred

  • Experience in a high-growth company setting.

  • Familiarity with the latest Sales training methodologies + technologies.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in financial services.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative sales team.

Compensation:

Annual Targeted Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 USD

Monthly Variable: You have the potential to earn an additional $1,750 USD per month in variable compensation. The final payout of variable compensation is determined by achievement of performance metrics.

Final offers are determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, specific skills, and internal equity. This approach ensures that our compensation is competitive and equitable. Your recruiter will provide specific details on the expected base and variable earnings as it pertains to this specific role.
