Red Canary, a Zscaler company, monitors an enterprise’s environment to detect and respond to cybersecurity threats so they can focus on their mission. Our Managed Detection and Response (MDR) solution is a unique blend of human expertise and security, which protects organizations from modern adversaries as their teams work remotely, move to the cloud, and they adopt new cybersecurity and IT technologies.

Job Description:

We are looking for an upbeat and highly motivated individual to join our sales team as an Account Development Representative in our Denver location.  You will be the first point of contact between Red Canary and our prospective customers to generate interest in an industry-leading cybersecurity solution. You will be joining a company with established product/market fit, a strong customer base, and exponential growth.

Account Development Representatives work closely with our sales team to identify qualified prospects for Red Canary via outbound sources, and follow up on Sales Ready. Through your persistence, determination, and creativity, you will help accomplish Red Canary’s mission to make security better for businesses of all sizes. You will prioritize bringing new prospects to Red Canary via outbound and inbound methods. This is a quota carrying role. 

Responsibilities:

  • Actively prospect and identify potential customers through research on platforms like LinkedIn, ZoomInfo
  • Initiate contact with prospects via phone calls, emails, and social media messages to introduce Red Canary’s MDR security solutions
  • Utilize SDR tech stack including Salesforce, Sendoso, Salesloft, LinkedIn SalesNavigator, Zoominfo, and Nooks
  • Qualify outbound and inbound leads to identify opportunities for further exploration with your assigned territory team
  • Perform in-depth qualification with prospects to ensure readiness and identify product fit
  • Build positive relationships with your assigned territory team and align on target accounts and strategy for outbound prospecting
  • Research and identify companies that could benefit from Red Canary product offerings and find creative ways to communicate and engage with them
  • Consistently meet assigned quota for meetings and pipeline

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage many leads simultaneously while remaining organized

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Flexible and able to adapt in a fast paced startup environment
  • Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude
  • Strong research and analytical skills to identify potential customer needs
  • Coachable, resilient and highly motivated to achieve in a metrics driven environment
  • Strong sense of accountability
  • Experience, but not mandatory using Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Linkedin SalesNavigator, Orum, and SalesLoft a plus

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range
$54,600$57,400 USD
