The Account Development Representative builds relationships with clients, manages the sales cycle, demonstrates product knowledge, and keeps sales data updated. Requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Communication & Relationship Building:
- Build rapport and establish strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional client service throughout the sales process.
- Actively listen to client needs and concerns, asking probing questions to uncover opportunities.
- Engage with existing clients via phone, email and video communication.
Product Knowledge & Presentation:
- Develop a deep understanding of our products/services, their features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
- Effectively demonstrate and explain product/service offerings to potential clients via virtual meetings and presentations.
- Address client questions, overcome objections, and provide accurate information regarding pricing, availability, terms, and warranties.
Sales Cycle Management:
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals.
- Collaborate with other sales team members on complex deals or larger accounts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and sales data in the CRM system.
- Provide feedback to management on market trends, client feedback, and sales tactics.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay informed about industry trends, product innovations, and competitor activities.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
Required
- 1+ years in inside/outside sales or sales support role
- Preferred knowledge of telecommunications industry
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Excellent people skills to establish and maintain effective relationships with client, employees, superiors, and business contacts in a professional, timely and courteous manner.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong trouble resolution and critical thinking skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills. Must be able to efficiently utilize all available resources to provide effective solutions and explore all possibilities to facilitate the best decision.
TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, AND SOFTWARE:
- Demonstrated knowledge of personal computer applications Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Outlook, TEAMs, Salesforce, ConnectWise
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Primarily indoor work in an office environment
- Frequent utilization of manual dexterity and visualizing of a computer screen
- No unusual physical requirements
