We need an English-fluent Linux and ETL Engineer, based in Latin America, available to work remotely.
We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested and proactive person, who's constantly learning and improving their skills.

Responsibilities:
- Deploy and support remote Linux-based systems used for energy monitoring.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot network infrastructures and connectivity issues.
- Use Linux command-line interfaces (CLI) to perform system administration and maintenance tasks.
- Support remote engineers in diagnosing issues and verifying system functionalities.
- Assist with remote edge compute installations and troubleshooting.
- Perform data conversion and ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) tasks using CSV files and similar data formats.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for deployments, procedures, and support processes.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding and system integration.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience with Linux systems administration, networking, and firewalls.
- Passion for the renewable energy industry and sustainability.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Comfortable in customer-facing interactions and technical discussions.
- Available to work in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone.
Compensation:
- The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $2,000 - $2,500 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.
- This position is for an independent contractor, through a payroll platform.
- The talent will work REMOTELY allocated at our client.
