  • Tailor voice and messaging to match each client’s brand while communicating clearly to home service audiences.

  • Follow page build instructions and collaborate with developers when technical content adjustments are needed.
  • Content Revisions and Updates: Implement content revisions based on internal feedback, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency. Maintain up-to-date documentation and track updates to ensure alignment with project timelines.

  • Use shared folders and internal systems to organize and version content across multiple projects.
  • Brand Consistency and Tone Adherence: Adapt content tone and structure to match a variety of client brands across different industries, primarily within the home services space.
  • Follow internal brand guides, content standards, and client-specific language preferences.
  • Collaborate with the Website Development Manager to prioritize assignments, track task progress, and meet content deadlines.
  • Participate in internal meetings to review upcoming projects or content needs.
  • SEO Best Practices is preferred and familiarity with SEO concepts such as meta descriptions, keyword placement, or semantic structure is a plus.
  • Experience using tools like Yoast would be beneficial but is not expected.

Requirements:

  • 2–3 years of professional writing experience in English, preferably in an agency or marketing environment.
  • Strong portfolio of website copy, landing pages, or blog content in English.
  • Excellent grammar, attention to detail, and ability to match brand tone and voice.
  • Comfortable writing for service-based industries or local business audiences.
  • Experience formatting and publishing content in WordPress, ideally using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and/or Elementor.
  • Familiarity with Google Docs, Figma, and Slack for team collaboration.
  • Ability to manage multiple content projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of SEO principles like keyword placement, meta descriptions, and semantic structure (Plus).
  • Able to convey ideas clearly, concisely, and with attention to audience tone and context.
  • Prioritizes tasks effectively and meets deadlines across multiple ongoing projects.
  • Works well with designers, developers, and managers to produce cohesive, high-performing content.
  • Can shift tone and structure depending on client brand or industry without losing clarity.
  • Capable of identifying layout/content conflicts and offering clear, workable solutions.
  • Comfortable navigating CMS tools, design previews (Figma), and cloud-based writing environments.
