The Revenue Auditor is responsible for performing revenue audits across gaming and non-gaming operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and financial integrity. This role serves as a foundational position within the Finance & Accounting function, supporting daily audit execution, discrepancy resolution, and regulatory compliance.

The position is designed to accommodate both entry-level candidates seeking to develop technical expertise in a regulated gaming environment and experienced professionals capable of performing complex gaming audits and reconciliations. Success in this role is defined by accuracy, consistency, documentation quality, and the ability to progressively expand technical scope in alignment with performance and business needs.


Revenue Audit Execution: Perform daily revenue audits across gaming, food & beverage, and retail operations as assigned. Perform all actions in accordance with established SOPs, internal controls, and gaming regulatory requirements. Ensure revenue activity is accurately recorded, reconciled, and properly documented.

Gaming & High-Risk Revenue Audits: Audit gaming revenue including Slots, Cage, and Table Games activity as assigned. Validate drops, counts, wins, and variances, ensuring gaming revenue is accurately supported and discrepancies are escalated in accordance with established procedures.

Non-Gaming Revenue Audits: Audit food & beverage, retail, hotel, and other non-gaming revenue streams to ensure transactional accuracy, system integrity, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Compliance & Audit Quality: Adhere strictly to approved policies, procedures, and gaming regulations. Maintain audit accuracy, consistency, and completeness in all assigned work while demonstrating professional judgment and accountability.

Discrepancy Identification & Resolution Support: Identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, or unusual trends in revenue activity. Investigate assigned issues and coordinate with operating departments under supervisory guidance to support timely resolution.

Systems & Application Utilization: Utilize enterprise systems including Oasis, Infogenesis, and Agilysys Stay to extract, validate, and reconcile data accurately. Maintain an ability and willingness to learn and become proficient in additional systems and software as required.

Documentation & Audit Trail Maintenance: Prepare, organize, and retain audit workpapers, reports, and supporting documentation in accordance with retention policies and regulatory requirements, ensuring audit trails are complete and retrievable.

Time Management & Workload Accountability: Complete assigned audits within established deadlines while maintaining high documentation, archival, and accuracy standards. Proactively communicate workload challenges or risk areas as appropriate.

  • Must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain and maintain a Ute Mountain Ute Gaming Commission Support License.
  • Must pass a drug test.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and high-volume events.
  • Must demonstrate a high level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism when handling sensitive financial and operational data.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Excel, gaming/hospitality software, and enterprise accounting or audit systems.
  • Willingness to learn, follow established procedures, and apply policies consistently.
Education
  • High school diploma or GED required.
Experience
  • This position may be entry-level for candidates with strong aptitude, analytical ability, and interest in finance or gaming operations. The position is designed for scope and technical expansion as experience grows.
  • Prior experience in accounting, auditing, casino operations, hospitality finance, or related fields is preferred.
  • Experience working in a regulated or compliance-driven environment is a plus.
  • Experience with gaming systems, POS systems, or financial reconciliation is beneficial but not required.

  • Knowledge or willingness to learn revenue audit principles, internal controls, and gaming regulatory requirements.
  • Skill or aptitude for analyzing data, identifying discrepancies, and supporting issue resolution.
