What you will do:
- Responsible for developing concepts for Ericsson to contribute in the 3GPP RAN4 working group.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical specifications for the 6G RAN standard
- Be part of a team developing concepts and working with standardization delegates.
- Play a key role in shaping the future of mobile communication by collaborating with industry experts and stakeholders both internally and externally.
The skills you bring:
- PhD or Master's in electrical engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in evolving radio access technologies and standards.
- Deep knowledge of 5G NR physical layer. Understanding of 5G RAN products and deployments.
- Ability to navigate the 3GPP standardization process.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English with ability to clearly convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Ability to carry out computer simulations.
- Strong collaborator in a global environment.
Expectation (first 3, 6 & 12 months) & Career path
- After 3-6 months you are established in the team and contributes to the team effort. After 12 months you are expected to be established as a technical authority for a sub-domain within the standardization area.
- Working as a 6G standardization researcher implies a wide professional network within the company and with customers and is a great platform for future career paths in product design and testing, product management or customer business projects.
