Job Profile Summary
The Sales Manager, Digital Solutions Third Party is a commercial leader within FedEx’s Digital Portfolio with a mandate of executing sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets. This is a highly customer facing role in which you will oversee a team of AEs selling FedEx’s Digital Solutions into our Third Party ecosystem at FedEx.
Essential Functions:
Lead and grow a motivated team of Third Party, Account Executives to drive success in your vertical through hiring, onboarding, and coaching
Interface and build rapport with partnerships leaders and C-level executives
Support the team in deal design and execution to satisfy customer objectives and deliver exceptional value
Manage team pipeline health, deal strategy, and forecast accuracy
Collaborate with and coach the team to ensure high levels of engagement, performance, and continuous improvement
Build accountability for the effective application of sales qualification and CRM compliance
Collaborate with teams across Product, Commercialization, Product Marketing, Account Management, Transportation Sales, Customer Technology, and others to create and implement best practices
Strong focus on team building, AE development, performance management, and culture-building
Minimum education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration, operations, or a related discipline
Minimum Experience
3+ years experience in sales management selling shipping software or SaaS
Direct consultative selling experience in enterprise software sales
Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools
Knowledge Skills Abilities
Knowledge of MEDDPIC or other opportunity qualification frameworks and sales methodologies
Excellent business acumen, emotional intelligence, organizational awareness, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication
Preferred Qualifications
Deep expertise in the shipping technology landscape
Experience selling enterprise solutions to customers in the transportation and logistics technology space
