We need an English-fluent QA Engineer, based in Latin America, available to work remotely.
We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested and proactive person, who's constantly learning and improving their skills.

Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and expand automated test suites (UI, API, and integration) using tools like Playwright.
- Develop reusable test components, fixtures, and helpers to make automation writing more efficient.
- Integrate and monitor automated tests within our CI/CD pipelines, investigating and resolving flaky tests.
- Pair closely with developers during the design and implementation phases to identify testability and coverage gaps early.
- Perform targeted exploratory testing and root-cause analysis on complex bugs when automation isn't the immediate answer.
- Review peer test code and advocate for engineering best practices in our quality repositories.
- Participate actively in release reviews, sharing context on test coverage and technical Risk.
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience in software engineering or QA engineering, with a strong focus on writing and maintaining test automation.
- Proficiency in writing test scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript (experience with Node.js and React is a major plus).
- Hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress) and API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions, AWS pipelines) and version control (Git).
Stack:
- Legacy: PHP 7, MySQL, Vue, Javascript, Digital Ocean
- Modern: NestJS (Node), NextJS (React), Typescript, PostgreSQL, AWS (SQS/SNS, ECS, Fargate)
- Testing tools: Playwright, Postman, Qase (Your input will help us continually refine this stack)
Compensation:
- The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $2,000 - $2,500 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.
- This position is for an independent contractor, through a payroll platform.
- The talent will work REMOTELY allocated at our client.
