Leads development of molten salt capabilities for fusion power systems, including designing and commissioning a laboratory, establishing research programs, managing experiments, and translating results into system requirements. Oversees thermal-hydraulic testing, corrosion studies, component development, salt chemistry and processing, external collaborations, laboratory standards, troubleshooting, and multidisciplinary technical teams.

Optimize manufacturing of optical assemblies and related hardware for quality, throughput, and schedule performance. Responsibilities include DFM/A, translating designs into production hardware, authoring work instructions, improving processes, supporting assembly and rework, managing configuration and procurement, maintaining equipment, resolving nonconformances, validating safety procedures, and mentoring manufacturing engineers and technicians.

Optimize manufacturing of pulsed power assemblies through DFM/A, work instructions, validation procedures, hands-on assembly support, quality improvement, configuration management, and repair or rework processes. The role translates engineering designs into operational hardware, supports production teams, manages procurement and equipment, validates safety procedures, resolves nonconformances, and mentors manufacturing engineers and technicians in an onsite R&D environment.
