Processes high-volume electronic tax returns and payments, responds to jurisdictional notices, resolves client and compliance issues, and maintains accurate filing records. Communicates with clients and taxing authorities, tracks incoming mail, supports new client onboarding, and updates business information in accordance with established procedures. The role requires tax-processing knowledge, Excel proficiency, strong organization, confidentiality, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines in a structured environment.

Lead Vertex’s global Oracle partnership strategy and execution, including executive relationship management, joint business planning, solution integrations, co-selling, partner enablement, commercial alignment, and go-to-market initiatives. Coordinate cross-functional product, sales, marketing, solutions, customer success, and legal teams. Monitor pipeline, revenue, adoption, and strategic performance while managing risks and corrective actions. Lead a matrixed partnership team and serve as the executive spokesperson for the Oracle relationship.

Serve as final escalation for complex, visible client technical issues; provide advanced troubleshooting for data-driven applications, databases, APIs, Java, Linux, and networking. Liaise with customers and internal teams during implementations, mentor junior staff, maintain shared environments, create knowledge-base documentation, and participate in on-call rotation.
