Senior Presales Engineer responsible for guiding customers toward technical communications solutions. The role requires presenting complex products, understanding customer needs, communicating with multiple audiences, and applying software development or technical product experience in a consultative sales process. Familiarity with cloud platforms, cloud application architecture, telecommunications, SIP, contact centers, security, and sales methodologies is preferred. The position is remote with approximately 10% travel.

Owns Twilio’s strategic email data plane integrations strategy, product roadmap, and lifecycle from concept through launch. Leads prioritization, requirements, migration from legacy products and APIs, launch planning, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, partners, and go-to-market teams. The role requires deep email expertise, strong technical understanding of APIs and cloud services, enterprise product experience, and the ability to drive scalable, reliable systems and measurable business outcomes.

Design, build, and operate scalable cloud-native platform services for phone numbers and KYC compliance. Own end-to-end feature delivery, technical specifications, APIs, microservices, tooling, reliability, security, and incident remediation. Use AI-assisted development to accelerate coding and testing, collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to platform modernization, operational excellence, and regulatory solutions.
