Develop and maintain production schedules using demand forecasts, inventory levels, capacity constraints, ERP systems, and MRP processes. Coordinate with supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, suppliers, and logistics teams to support timely production and delivery. Monitor inventory, identify bottlenecks, create contingency plans, and apply lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and shorten lead times.

Supervise warehouse staff and coordinate receiving, storage, shipping, materials handling, staffing, training, safety, and productivity. Assign work areas, monitor performance, enforce company policies, maintain a clean and compliant facility, operate forklifts and other equipment, and collaborate with Human Resources on hiring and personnel matters. The role requires on-site leadership in a steel production environment and supports timely operational schedules.

Assists the Operations Manager in leading branch operations across production, distribution, warehouse, logistics, and support functions. Oversees safe and timely material handling, product quality, budgets, staffing, regulatory compliance, productivity, and continuous improvement. Supervises leaders and employees, manages operating and capital expenses, supports hiring and development, monitors performance targets, and coordinates with sales and other departments to meet customer needs.
