Teams at The Gathering Place: A Refuge for Rebuilding Lives

Provides 24-hour, on-site shelter operations support, including front-desk and access monitoring, safety checks, incident documentation, member engagement, crisis de-escalation, meal and delivery coordination, cleaning, sanitation, unit turnover, supply management, minor maintenance, and facilities coordination. Supports trauma-informed member orientations, resource connections, program documentation, and collaboration with case managers and community partners.

Supports HR operations including payroll, benefits, performance management, employee relations, training, compliance, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding. Coordinates employee access and credentials with an external IT partner, processes biweekly payroll, supports benefits administration, and helps maintain a compliant, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture.

Supports hospitality programs including prepared meals, food pantry, and boutique services. Coordinates menu creation, inventory management, meal production, food service, member engagement, documentation, and volunteer collaboration. Applies food safety, trauma-informed care, cultural humility, and crisis de-escalation practices while maintaining a safe, inclusive environment.
