Oversee an assigned home-care caseload and census, ensuring staffing coverage, scheduling, recruiting, and continuity of care. Communicate with families and field staff, coordinate with nursing and case management teams, support referrals and intake, verify payroll, address insurance eligibility and authorizations, and help maintain branch financial performance and regulatory compliance. Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation and manage staffing gaps proactively.

Coordinates home health operations and patient care, including scheduling, staffing, recruiting, intake, referrals, insurance eligibility, authorizations, payroll verification, on-call coverage, compliance, and financial performance. The role collaborates with nursing leadership, case managers, clinical staff, patients, and employees while maintaining confidentiality and meeting operational deadlines.

Perform insurance authorizations and reauthorizations, check eligibility/benefits, maintain electronic authorization records, enter authorization data into EMR, run departmental reports, verify payer setup, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate authorization use.
