The Clinical Scientist in Oncology collaborates with Medical Directors to develop medical plans, perform data reviews, author queries, and manage project scope and quality, ensuring adherence to guidelines and timely project delivery.

Supports global clinical trial feasibility, recruitment and retention planning, enrollment optimization, and in-life trial management. The role gathers and analyzes trial data, develops optimization reports and recruitment plans, coordinates timelines and stakeholder reviews, manages vendors and support materials, monitors enrollment performance, and recommends mitigation strategies. Collaboration spans clinical teams, country stakeholders, legal, analytics, vendors, sites, and community or advocacy partners. Oncology trial experience, particularly in lung or breast cancer studies, is preferred.

Conducts site qualification, initiation, monitoring, management, and close-out activities for clinical studies. Ensures compliance with protocols, ICH-GCP, regulations, informed consent, data quality, investigational product procedures, and essential document requirements. Reviews source documents, resolves queries, supports recruitment and retention, maintains audit readiness, manages site communications and timelines, and collaborates with sponsors and study teams. Requires regular travel of up to 75% and may support real-world late-phase studies, chart abstraction, site identification, and junior staff training.
