Develop and lead full-stack engineering for secure mission-planning and command-and-control software supporting space communications programs. Responsibilities include building performant web applications, designing APIs, translating UI/UX designs into interfaces, improving backend services, conducting code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and owning features end-to-end. The role requires work in secure or air-gapped government environments and eligibility for TS/SCI access.

Build, maintain, and operate AWS-based Kubernetes (EKS) infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Develop Terraform modules, Helm charts, and automation (Python/Go). Ensure platform reliability, security (IAM/cross-account), observability, and troubleshoot production issues while supporting cross-functional engineering teams and classified program requirements.

Design, build, and operate automated build and deployment infrastructure (GitLab CI/CD, Atlantis). Maintain multiple production Kubernetes clusters, package software as Helm charts, author Terraform cloud infrastructure, configure a federated message bus, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and mentor junior engineers. Support software teams and own technical problems end-to-end for space communications systems serving the U.S. government.
