Design and prototype embedded firmware for SSD innovation: implement and validate firmware algorithms (FTL, GC, QoS, data placement), debug and root-cause issues, perform unit/integration testing, collect metrics, and collaborate with architects and IP leads to guide system-level decisions and prototype delivery.

Own and evolve domain-level architecture for next-generation data-center SSDs. Define system specs, hardware/software partitioning, and performance optimizations. Lead ASIC and firmware trade-offs, drive end-to-end product execution, collaborate cross-functionally, mentor engineers, and incorporate emerging technologies to meet performance, power, cost, and scalability goals.
