<p><a href="http://www.simplur.com">Simplur</a> is a social network changing online giving for political and non-profit causes through crowdfunding. &nbsp;Our platform matches users by interests and goals and allows them to gather up for more influence and accountability through aggregated giving. &nbsp;If a cause is important to one person, it's likely important to millions of people. &nbsp;If those millions give separately, their voice won't be heard. &nbsp;If they give together, their voice will be overwhelming. &nbsp;Simplur makes that possible in an easy and intuitive way.</p><p>For political giving, this process is an absolute first. &nbsp;It will level the playing field for citizens who care deeply about our country but don't have millions of dollars to put toward their goals. &nbsp;Our outside counsel, Trevor Potter, is the former Chairman of the Federal Election Commission, and is frequently seen as a contributor for&nbsp;<em>The Colbert Report.</em></p><p>For political and charitable causes, we offer extremely easy set up and free accounts. &nbsp;While online giving has exploded in recent years, it's incredibly inefficient and the market is horribly fragmented. &nbsp;By gathering people with like interests, we will create a community that is easily accessible and highly responsive to causes that make a difference in our world.</p><p>We are open for giving to nearly 1 million charitable causes, and we will release the major crowdfunding feature along with the chance to give to political candidates in the spring 2014. &nbsp;</p><p>Simplur was founded by Craig Wilcox, an experienced entrepreneur and online marketing expert. &nbsp;In recent years, he's led an online marketing agency (acquired in 2012), and worked with Microsoft and MapQuest with budgets and P/L responsibility of over $50 million annually.<em>&nbsp;</em></p><p>&nbsp;</p>
