Leads systems engineering and modeling for combined hardware/software data processing systems supporting U.S. national security missions. Responsibilities include eliciting operational concepts, refining requirements, designing architectures, coordinating verification and validation, documenting systems using MBSE tools, mentoring staff, and improving engineering processes. The role collaborates with government customers, operational users, integration teams, and technical staff, with emphasis on MOSA, microservices, data centers, and high-performance processing.

Develops model-based systems engineering artifacts for integrated hardware/software data processing systems. Responsibilities include modeling operational concepts, stakeholder needs, requirements, interfaces, architectures, verification status, and development roadmaps using SysML and related tools. Collaborates with customers and technical teams to support MOSA architectures and high-performance data processing applications. The role requires a STEM bachelor’s degree, SysML experience, familiarity with IEEE 15288, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Designs and documents operational concepts, stakeholder needs, system requirements, and architectures for combined hardware/software data processing systems. Supports development, integration, verification, and validation teams while applying IEEE 15288 and Model-Based Systems Engineering practices. The role involves microservices, data centers, modular open systems, Kubernetes, remote sensing, and high-performance computing, with collaboration across customers and technical staff. Technical leadership experience and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance are required.
