Senior Project Accountant responsible for project accounting, job costing, WIP reconciliation, financial reporting, cost-to-complete forecasting, billing support, and revenue recognition. The role partners with project management, operations, supply chain, and corporate accounting to resolve discrepancies and improve processes within the IFS ERP system. Responsibilities include project setup, budget and margin analysis, subcontractor compliance, month-end close support, and ERP implementation stabilization.

Leads strategic business development for electrical construction and infrastructure markets. Builds relationships with contractors, developers, owners, EPC firms, and decision-makers; manages the opportunity pipeline from qualification through contract award; develops market strategies; negotiates commercial agreements; and collaborates with estimating, preconstruction, operations, and executives to secure profitable projects.

Processes and applies customer payments across multiple ERP systems, researches unapplied cash and payment discrepancies, reconciles cash receipts with bank activity, monitors AR clearing and suspense accounts, and maintains accurate customer balances and documentation. Collaborates with project managers, customers, and Accounts Payable teams to resolve missing information, deductions, short payments, overpayments, and potential write-offs.
