Design and own API contracts across multiple products, build search and discovery capabilities for large content libraries, and maintain continuous delivery pipelines for code, infrastructure, configuration, and data. The engineer will shape engineering standards around security and governance, make technology decisions, collaborate with distributed teams, and mentor other engineers.

Build full-stack features for search, browsing, content curation, governance, and student exploration across education products. Develop backend services using databases, datastores, messaging, and cloud infrastructure, while building accessible TypeScript and React frontends. Write unit, component, and contract tests and add observability through traces, metrics, and logs. Work independently with distributed teams and help adopt AI-first development through multi-agent orchestration and formal engineering constraints.

Serve as a strategic talent advisor owning full-cycle recruiting for complex, high-priority roles across multiple functions. Partner with hiring leaders to design hiring strategies, source and assess candidates, manage interviews and offers, use ATS/CRM/analytics (Greenhouse preferred) and AI-enabled tools, mentor recruiters, lead TA projects, and improve processes while ensuring compliance and an excellent candidate experience.
