Design and validate advanced Kalman filters and estimation approaches, own navigation products for reviews, support flight operations and anomaly response, mentor junior engineers, improve procedures and tools, and contribute navigation expertise to proposals and new concept development.

Design, implement, and validate spacecraft navigation algorithms and software. Perform orbit determination, trajectory reconstruction, covariance analysis, and tune Kalman filters for radiometric, optical, and GPS data. Configure navigation toolchains, support navigation operations and console activities, communicate results to mission teams, and contribute to requirements, planning, IRAD, and BD efforts.

Lead systems engineering and sustainment for JPSS Common Ground System. Oversee software teams developing Java/JavaScript/SQL/NoSQL microservices and web services, use Cloud Foundry/Kubernetes, define MVPs and user stories with stakeholders, plan and lead verification test events, and produce NASA/NOAA systems engineering documentation and cross-functional coordination.
