Leads and scales multidisciplinary engineering teams developing mission-critical defense and intelligence software using satellite imagery, geospatial analytics, AI/ML, and cloud platforms. Owns architecture, systems development, operational reliability, deployment pipelines, compliance with ITAR/EAR, and product engineering roadmaps. Partners with product and executive leadership to deliver high-throughput analytics, real-time alerting, automated detection, and secure commercial and sovereign-cloud solutions.

Drive complex, cross-functional technical programs from concept through delivery. Develop schedules, milestones, metrics, processes, and risk mitigation plans; coordinate Engineering, Product, Design, Space Systems, Enablement, Support, and customers. Translate technical and business requirements, manage dependencies, facilitate data-driven decisions, communicate program status, and improve operational processes. The role supports defense and intelligence solutions, custom deployments, and engineering release cycles in a hybrid Washington, DC or Denver office environment.

Architect and lead enterprise-scale data ecosystems and high-availability pipelines supporting global monitoring products. Build end-to-end solutions spanning architecture, ETL/ELT, orchestration, automated QA, CI/CD, and production integration. Establish data engineering standards, optimize existing systems, mentor team members, conduct design reviews, and partner with Product, Engineering, and commercial leaders. The role focuses on cloud-native, customer-facing data platforms, including geospatial datasets and defense and intelligence applications.
