Develop and maintain backend services for OppFi’s financial technology platform. Responsibilities include building Java applications and services, collaborating in an Agile environment, conducting code reviews and testing, documenting best practices, and refining technical requirements into production-ready solutions. The role uses AWS, Docker, PostgreSQL, APIs, and related cloud-native technologies.

Leads the Operations Strategy enablement roadmap and manages complex, cross-functional initiatives from business-case development through implementation, adoption, and measurable impact. Identifies scalable tools, technologies, automation, and operating practices across operational functions. Partners with Product, Technology, Analytics, Risk, Compliance, and Operations to define requirements, establish governance, manage dependencies, measure results, and provide recommendations to senior leadership.

Leads OppFi’s lifecycle and brand marketing strategy across acquisition, retention, repayment, servicing, and collections. Owns omnichannel communications through Braze, lifecycle KPIs, brand standards, creative direction, customer insights, and go-to-market strategy. Manages and mentors lifecycle marketing, design, and marketing technology teams while partnering cross-functionally with Product, Data, Engineering, Operations, Legal, Finance, and executives. Drives experimentation, optimization, customer experience, and responsible marketing within a regulated FinTech environment.
