Om Plates

We are a start-up based in Denver, CO called Om Plates! 

We create elegant, sustainable, compostable tableware made in partnership with factories that employ and empower women throughout rural India. In fact, we are committed to supplementing the basic education costs of 1 child per every worker, while providing funds for any mother that wants further training or education. All Om Plate products - our plates, bowls, and cutlery - are made from renewable or sustainable harvested materials, in a completely organic manufacturing process, that's right there are zero chemicals used to make our beautiful products! Perfect for summer BBQs, or food-trucks on the go; our products combine durability, minimalist design, and sustainability to provide consumers with the perfect alternative to Styrofoam. Heck, sometimes our products can be washed, and re-washed, microwaved, and even placed in the oven, before they begin to deteriorate. Multiple uses and durability stand as selling points but, we would like to think it's the fact that all of products can be composted in your own home. Which means food for you and mother earth!
