Nu Piece

Nu Piece is a platform that gives artists, galleries, and art events a quick and easy way to smartphone-enable their visual art.  It's basically a museum-class mobile tour, tailored for galleries and solo artists.

With Nu Piece, artists provide photos, video, information about themselves and their work. Nu Piece creates a special QR code to place near the work. An art viewer scans the code with their phone, then sees a mobile-friendly page displaying text, photos, and video related to the work.

From there, viewers can learn about the artist, as well as the show or event where the work is on display. Viewers can quickly share a piece of art with their friends and followers using email and social media tools, see other works by the artist, and (if the artist chooses) they can reserve the piece for purchase.
