Designs and analyzes mechanical components and assemblies for aerospace and mission-critical applications. Performs structural, vibration, thermal, and static analyses; creates and reviews drawings; supports manufacturing, production, testing, quality resolution, troubleshooting, and R&D. Collaborates with RF, manufacturing, production, QA, customers, vendors, and sales while ensuring design-for-manufacturability, aerospace compliance, documentation quality, and continuous improvement.

Develops and executes RF, environmental, and systems tests; creates test plans, procedures, layouts, reports, and readiness review packages. Collaborates with RF, mechanical, and systems engineers to verify product performance against customer requirements. Troubleshoots test issues, processes data, configures RF test equipment, supports technicians, reviews specifications, contributes to proposals and production support, and mentors junior engineers. The role requires extensive RF testing experience, engineering or related education, programming skills, and familiarity with communication systems and environmental testing.

Lead the architecture, systems engineering, analysis, integration, testing, and operational support of communications payloads for LEO, MEO, and GEO satellite missions. Perform payload trade studies, requirements development, link and performance analyses, supplier evaluations, spacecraft resource assessments, verification planning, and mission support. Collaborate with multidisciplinary spacecraft teams, suppliers, and AIT organizations throughout the payload lifecycle.
