The Director of Public Relations leads public relations, media relations, reputation management, crisis communications, community engagement, and corporate communications. The role develops messaging, manages media and executive relationships, serves as a spokesperson, oversees events and partnerships, supports store openings, measures campaign results, and advises senior leadership. The position collaborates across Legal, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Recruiting, and other departments while managing communications projects, budgets, schedules, and deliverables.

Provides employee relations guidance to managers and employees across regional retail operations. Investigates complaints, advises on performance and conflict resolution, reviews HRIS pay changes, supports HR initiative rollouts, manages ADA, leave, and workers’ compensation escalations, and delivers manager training. Requires broad HR generalist knowledge, employee relations expertise, employment law familiarity, confidentiality, sound judgment, communication, mediation, and organizational skills. Up to 10% travel is required.
