Provides fire, safety, and physical security protection for hospital coworkers, patients, and visitors. Promotes fire and safety prevention and performs duties according to Mercy’s mission and service standards. Requirements include a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, applicable public safety or security licensure, completion of a basic public safety/security course, and English literacy. A college degree and prior security, military, or law enforcement experience are preferred.

Provide direct patient care in obstetrics, assist nurses with patient preparation for deliveries and surgery, perform tasks related to delivery/surgical procedures, report patient progress and unusual findings, and maintain a clean, prepared work environment. PRN position with variable hours.

Operate ultrasound and imaging equipment to acquire diagnostic images, ensure patient safety and comfort, follow protocols, communicate findings with healthcare team, and maintain imaging quality and equipment safety standards.
