Lead systems engineering for a robotic-assisted surgery platform: translate user needs into requirements, perform functional analysis and allocation, document system/subsystem architecture, manage risk and regulatory design controls, use MBSE, oversee integration and verification, and support lifecycle activities including field issue investigation and design-change impact analysis.

Lead and grow a software engineering team for regulated medical device products: recruit and mentor staff, drive engineering execution and quality, enable AI-assisted development and local LLMs, coordinate cross-functional product efforts, improve processes and reliability, and resolve customer/field issues in partnership with quality, systems, and product teams.
