Test, validate, troubleshoot, and improve cryogenic systems and dilution refrigerator subsystems. Develop test plans, operate advanced cryogenic equipment, investigate reliability and uptime risks, support customer installations and issue resolution, document inspection procedures, and apply pressure-safety, relief-sizing, and oxygen-deficiency hazard practices. The role requires expertise in cryogenic thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, vacuum systems, cryogen handling, CAD, and engineering analysis.

Leads the finance organization and advises executive leadership and the board on financial strategy, planning, capital allocation, fundraising, reporting, and operational finance. Builds scalable finance infrastructure for a complex hardware manufacturing business, including forecasting, manufacturing economics, cost accounting, controls, ERP systems, contract finance, and global reporting. Oversees the Controller and supports investor relations, government contracts, grants, and strategic transactions.

Design and develop mechanical parts, assemblies, subsystems, and documentation for quantum computing infrastructure. Responsibilities include defining technical specifications, troubleshooting and implementing design improvements, managing senior-level subsystem development, coordinating engineering changes, and transitioning products from concept to scalable manufacturing. The role also involves prototyping, testing, collaborating across departments, and applying design-for-excellence principles.
