Teams at MASC Medical

Provide inpatient rehabilitation care to medically complex adult patients in a community hospital rehab unit. Responsibilities include rounding, admissions, discharges, PM&R-focused treatment, and collaboration with hospital clinical and administrative teams. The schedule is Wednesday through Friday with occasional weekend and overnight call, averaging four to eight days monthly. The physician will use Epic and work alongside a team of PM&R physicians with access to hospital specialty services.

Provides direct remote telepsychiatry care for adults and older adults with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and dementia. Leads and mentors psychiatric nurse practitioners through supervision, case reviews, team huddles, and education. Performs psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, medication management, and crisis intervention; collaborates with primary care and care management teams; supports behavioral health program development, process improvement, recruitment, and onboarding. Participates in limited rotating on-call coverage.
