Supports month-end close through journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, variance investigation, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit preparation. Maintains accounting records and general ledger accounts, responds to financial inquiries, identifies discrepancies, and assists with process improvements and ad hoc finance projects. Collaborates with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data while developing foundational accounting expertise under supervision.

Resolves patient, provider, vendor, and health-plan billing inquiries through phone, email, portals, and other channels. Processes payments, updates insurance information, reviews billing transactions, resolves account and payment-posting issues, answers patient questions, supports reporting, and escalates revenue-cycle challenges. The role requires accurate, compassionate customer service and handling confidential patient information.
