Provides onsite administrative and clinical program coordination for a behavioral health hospital. Duties include maintaining schedules, coordinating patient assessments and group assignments, supporting billing and payer authorization, managing records and reports, arranging follow-up care, handling patient and referral communications, collecting payments, and supporting discharge planning and outpatient functions.

Manages inpatient rehabilitation cases by assessing patients, identifying care needs, initiating appropriate interventions, documenting medical necessity, maintaining interdisciplinary care plans, and completing quality-improvement assessments. The role requires collaboration with clinical teams, strong communication, and professional licensure as an RN or healthcare professional such as a PT, OT, or speech-language pathologist.

Perform clinical reviews of admissions and continued stays, verify insurance coverage and certifications, coordinate with managed care organizations and interdisciplinary teams, complete pre-/re-certifications and appeals, arrange peer-to-peer reviews, and report denials while supporting discharge planning and documentation compliance.
