Supports Tier III operations and maintenance for customer LAN and WAN networks. Responsibilities include monitoring performance, troubleshooting incidents, configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and network software, implementing routing and firewall changes, optimizing topologies, documenting configurations, analyzing network traffic, coordinating implementations, and resolving after-hours incidents. The role also supports compliance, configuration management, reporting, and occasional COMSEC responsibilities.

Designs, documents, tests, secures, and transitions global CAN/LAN networks for a government customer. Responsibilities include developing network architectures and configurations, testing technologies in a private lab, migrating legacy infrastructure, troubleshooting routing and switching issues, supporting operations teams, aligning designs with DISA STIGs, obtaining ATOs, and supervising network support specialists. The role may also involve MPLS WANs, firewalls, network management tools, and process improvement.

Senior Tier III O&M engineer responsible for administering and troubleshooting LAN/WAN networks, performing tier-3 incident resolution, configuring routers, switches, and firewalls, monitoring performance, maintaining network documentation, coordinating changes, and ensuring compliance with DoD/IA standards. May handle COMSEC tasks and after-hours on-call support.
