Supports pharmacy operations by counseling customers, processing prescriptions and insurance, dispensing medications accurately, assisting with immunizations under pharmacist supervision, contacting prescribers and insurers, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe, clean department. Provides courteous customer service, follows quality and safety standards, handles sensitive information responsibly, and supports diverse customers, including minors, older adults, and individuals with special needs.

Pharmacy Interns provide prescription processing, medication dispensing, drug counseling, over-the-counter recommendations, insurance support, immunizations under pharmacist supervision, inventory management, and customer service. They maintain pharmacy safety and quality standards, communicate with prescribers and insurers, handle prescription information accurately, and support customers including minors, older adults, and individuals with special needs.

Leads the front-end department by supervising associates, managing schedules, cash control, sales and profit goals, promotions, budgets, inventory conditions, compliance, safety, training, and customer service. Coaches employees, handles customer and business issues, maintains department standards, and supports store management in delivering an excellent customer experience.
